Rearend conversation

Newbie to the forum I have a 2007 Yamaha g29 electric needs a rearend they seem very impossible to find anybody ever fab another rear under it

Why does it need a rearend? Maybe easier (less costly) to fix it?

I hate when that happens. I have seen 2 abused housings like that. One we easily found a replacement for. The other was removed from the cart and a local welder was able to repair it. GL with the project.

There are several golf cart specific salvage outfits around the country. I'm familiar with one in south east Indiana that does mostly Yamaha carts. Many automotive yards have some golf carts too. Where are you? if you're too far away the shipping might cost more that whatever part you're looking for.
