Default Front seat Passenger Side Armrest rubbing?

Noticing that the passenger side armrest in the front seat, slightly rubs against the seat back when lifting and closing the seat bottom (battery area). Can anyone tell me if this is also the case for them.

It looks like maybe the rear roof posts on my cart are off center...??

Hey Miamidad..

On my I40 there is no contact rubbing with back of either front or rear seat.

With a lifted cart there should be no difference.

A neighbor just received a new I40L ...being me, I just had to look
at his battery pack on on his new I40L....There was no contact rubbing
on his cart either.

Have your dealer check this out for you...

Wow thanks Carts. That sucks for me. I was kind of hoping it was normal, now it’s something I have to deal with. I’ll send a picture of the spot later so you can see what I’m talking about

I know it is disappointing...take it one step at a time.

Miamidad..please have your dealer check it out....you are under warranty
they should make good.

Best wishes for a quick resolve.

Hey Miamidad..

It seems as if the arm rests are too far back and need to be adjusted
forward...

My seats are custom padded and my arm rests dont come anywhere
near that close as yours do...

This may be an easy fix ...look under your seat and see if there isn't
someway to adjust them...if not...get your dealer involved let the
warranty cover you..

Best wishes friend

Yes geoff ..they were custom made ...seat base patterns were sent to
a custom seat maker by my dealer in order to make the new padded
seat covers. These were installed for me prior to taking delivery of my I40.

Hope this helps

Any chance that your arm rests could be adjusted?
