Just bought a turd 1998 G16E need suggestions
Hello,
I just acquired a 1998 G16E for $300.00. The person I bought it from stated that it needed new batteries and a speed controller to work again. The body is in great shape and it has the fold down rear seat. All I need it for is driving around the campground so it doesn't need to be lighting fast. Should I just replace the stock controller and 6 volt batteries or would this be a time to upgrade? I do plan on lifting and adding 10-12 inch tires. Thanks!! |

Upgrade...never stick with stock controller when adding a lift and bigger tires...usually your stock will work for a while but will kill out due to the added stress in the long run...Bite the bullet since you need one already and you will be way happier...
