Is this something I can get at a local auto parts store. I have Autozone, Oriley's, Advance, Napa, Carquest. Should I look for a 7 prong?

You can look locally but I don't think you will find it cheaper. There is a 6-pin that will run the lights also, but I always use the same 7-pin. It's a standard keyswitch on many garden tractors.

Well, you have the motor, so you can measure. I have all the drawings, so I don't have to measure.

Well ok then. I guess I'll just yank the clone out and try and bolt the vtwin in there tomorrow.

Do you know the mount pattern on the Vanguards?
