Here is the switch within easy reach that is near the F/N/R. 19mm latching type w/led indicator.
Also shown is the LED indicator I put near the key (where I'd originally located the switch, but as mentioned there are issues if you extend the leads that far from the battery box. It's possible that shielded cable could help after discussion with RD, but decided I liked the switch nearer the charge port as the light is a reminder when plugging in. Lastly there is an overview showing the Renogy shunt location, the variable regen mechanism, the BMS switch wiring going through the battery compartment, and the storage space left at the edge plus the hold-down straps. The switch with the blue tape marked "off" is where I put the on / off temporarily while I was deciding where to put it permanently and just left it in but it isn't connected to anything currently. RD was very good about locating terminals and on / off switch wiring exits where I wanted them on the enclosure. |
