Default bypassing obc

i have a bad sensor in my obc and the charger shuts off in about 30 seconds. i followed the instructions on another post and disconnected the two wires in the charger, then jumped them, but my charger still shuts off after about 30 seconds. should it have kept on charging?

. . . if you jumpered the proper relay in the charger, it should have kept on charging . . . assuming the charger is good . . . can you try the charger on another cart?

i'll see if i can find another cart to try the charger on. i think i jumpered the correct relay but not sure. do you know if you can just do without the obc and use a timer instead?

Using a timer is a bad idea, you can eliminate the obc but will need a new dpi charger and they are in the $265 range, and I think that is what I would do.
