Default overhaul again

i had my G2 up on the lift fitting a reciver hitch on it, i decided to change the oil while it was up in the air, pulled the plug and got NOTHING! put in my 1qt. and it smoked like a tire fire, so it's all apart and waiting on parts, .25mm over this time, thank dog it didn't get the crankshaft.

gotta rember to check the oil more often, and figger out why the low oil light failed to work.

Good catch! If the oil was old/not changed regularly, most likely stuck the float in the oil sensor, therefore the light couldn't warn you. While apart, clean the unit with carberator cleaner (many times) till you can take a volt meter (on continuity), with the unit as it would be in the car (level) read continuity, then turn it upside down (as if oil was filling the unit) and you would have no continuity. I have also seen people take the light bulb out or disconnect the wireing. Good luck on your project.
