Powerwashing battery compartment
One quick question, so, if I want to clean my battery compartment out with a power washer or a hose should I disconnect any of the batteries Or other cables when I do it? Thanks in advance

I would not use a power washer.

A power washer would be pretty rough on stuff (not to say I haven’t done it.). If you’re just hosing it off I wouldn’t disconnect anything, just don’t get the controller wet unless it’s an Alltrax.

Re: Powerwashing battery compartment
The pressure can get water inside all sorts of stuff. I apply a soapy mixture, using a brush with a handle a couple feet long, then rinse with garden hose spray.
Funny this topic came up, I'm going to do this very thing this afternoon. BTW. I usually unhook the pack mains and let everything dry a while before hooking them back. The only problem I have ever had with the water is the reverse buzzer sounding off for some reason. |
