Hmph, I always thought the precedents had the poly tray that protects the aluminum from the battery acid?

My electronics are mounted on a piece of aluminum mounted right in the middle of the batteries under the cover with the tow switch. The battery's are in a big plastic tub.

Had a small hole ate through top of frame so didnt have much of a choice to tear down this far. Going to cut out the area and weld in new aluminum this week.

While its apart I figured I might as well go through it and clean and paint everything along with a few new items. I am going to do new:

Batteries
Cables
Shocks
New fluid in Diff
Bigger motor (maybe)

What else should I do while its apart?

What size and kind of lift do you have and what size rims and tires. Sharp

There is a tub replacement kit, I think it is around $400, If I remember correctly one of the sponsors had them.

I understand there are several kits, however I am not going to buy a kit. I am asking if I can buy a 08+ buttery tub and put in my 06. Will it fit my body and frame without modification or is a 08 a completely different cart.

This is what I want to know if will fit my 06?
