G2 Stop Switch kills power
Thought stop switch on my G2 was bad. I checked power to it and it was ok. Then pressed pedal and no power on other side of switch. I then replaced switch with no luck. Checked power going to switch and ok. Pressed pedal and no power out, but also checked fpr power in and it was also dead. Released pedal and power into switch ok. Also checked same at key switch. Power from Key switch to Stop Switch ok but when stop switch is pressed power goes off at key switch. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Re: G2 Stop Switch kills power
Check all of the connections back to and including the battery. The open circuit voltage can appear to be normal. But once you depress the peddle, and engage the starter and apply a load to the circuit the voltage can drop with a bad connection. Good Luck.

Re: G2 Stop Switch kills power
The two plugs nearest to the pedal switch are pretty famous for getting full of crud and corrosion.
