Tie Rod bolt just spins
I'm working on putting a lift on and the tie rod ends are giving me a bunch of trouble.
I's it normal/ok for the tie rod bolt to spin? I got it loose from the arm, but now the bolt spins as I try to get the nut off...do I need to get a new tie rod now? Any ideas on how to get the nut off? |

Re: Tie Rod bolt just spins
Take a Pickle fork and stick it between the tie rod and the spindle are, wedge it in there and take the nut off-works 95% of the time. Tie rod may or may not be good, you have to feel it to see if it is loose or not.

I got it off finally without the fork. The tie rod ball still is tight. I have a fork now for removing the others.
