Default Solenoid does not clickand no power to controller

I have 99 DCS (36V) and the cart just stopped and solenoid does not click nor do I have the little green light on the Alltrax controller.

*Battery pack at 37.9V
*Checked all cables and the fuse.
*I get 37.9V on the battery side of the solenoid and .3 on the controller side while the key is on and in foward

Can I jump the 2 big wires on the solenoid to test without damaging anything ?

Could this be the resistor on the solenoid ?

Any help would be appreciated.

I really hate DCS cars.......

What voltage are you getting on the small posts of the solenoid with the pedal down, cart in gear and key on?

I am getting no voltage there with a probe on each small terminal

* One thing as of this morning to note is when I turn the key on I was getting my battery indicator light (full charge) but now have no light . This changed since last night

I feel that the failed DCS system was a mistake with a fatal flaw .... But CC continues to make the IQ cars on purpose

Your Solenoid problem seems to be a lack of solenoid activation... the small posts need a positive and a negative to activate.... check this out.

OK UK here are a couple of links, one is so you can download the manual and look up your cart, it will give you complete diagnostics.

The second one is put together by Scottyb, it is a good one, it will help.

Check the resistor/ reed switch at the charger plug to make sure your getting voltage out of the charger plug in. This feeds the solenoid with voltage. If bad remove and jumper it if you feel comfortable doing that.
