Default Is this a par car or something else?

I traded a three wheeler for this project cart. I want to make a lifted cart. It has a honda 8hp engine in it and I was told the wiring is messed up. I am trying to Identify the cart so I can look for a wiring schematic and begin looking at lifts etc. I cant find any identifying information except there appears to be a P on the front quarterpanels. Is this a par car? Anyone know what year if it is? I would appreciate any help on this. Thank you.

Question Re: Is this a par car or something else?

ok i have included some newer photos of the cart with the logo included. It looks like a p or a d made of a triangle. The black circle around it is scratched up so its kind of hard to see. Any one have any Ideas? I need a wiring diagram for this thing or at least a basic idea so I can see if it will run.

Update, I have not been able to find what kind of cart this is. Although I like it I had a golf cart mechanic with 20yrs experience come look at it. He said it looked like some kind of 70s frame with an aftermarket body. He was very discouraging and told me it would take twice what the cart was even worth to lift it. He said I should sell it for the price of scrap. The honda engine was not getting a spark. Not to be denied I kept my eyes open and will probably make this a street cart. I found out the coil was fried and ordered a new one. I also made a new purchase. I bought a beat up early 90s Ez go workhorse with a robin engine, that had a lift on it already. 50.00 Then I bought a 1981 Arctic cat el tigre snowmobile with only 500 miles on it for the 500cc 75hp 2 stroke suzuki motor in it. Now I have a new project. A lot to take on for a first time cart builder but what the hell right? Here are the pics of the new aquisitions. Any comments or advise? Yes the Ez go runs supposedly but the steering is not complete and I need tie rods for it. Oh and the demolished tire was what happend when I drove to northern AZ to buy these things.

Thumbs up Re: Is this a par car or something else?

Well, not knowing your skill level I can't say if it will be difficult or just challenging, but I'm glad you're doing it and not me. I'll take my time and try to do something from beginning to end without too many complications before jumping into what you have ahead of you.

Did you have to buy the whole sled to get just the engine? I would save myself some trouble and just pull the engine and let someone else deal with scrapping it. Then again, if you got it cheap enough to make some money from the scrap to pay off your build it might be worth the trouble.

Move this on over to the E-Z-Go area and take plenty of pictures of the transformation to share. Good Luck

I have decided to keep the snow machine engine in the red cart. I have taken pics of the suspension and will begin to lift and manage. I will transfer that part to the lifted section. Thanks.

So i finally found out the red cart is an 88-89 shuttlecraft. Everything I do will have to be custom.
