Default 2006 club car brake pedal issues

I have a 2006 club car that I purchased that has a sticky parking brake. You can move the brake pedal itself perfectly fine but the parking brake section is super stiff. Seems to be a corrosion issue. I have take off the assembly and tried to clean/lubricate and working the pedal parts with no success. What are my other options?. I cannot seem to find a gen 1 pedal assembly for sale.
