The battery pack voltage under load seems to be fairly normal, so we need to find out if the pack voltage is getting to the controller and if it is, then if it is getting to the armature through the controller, and if it isn't, is the controller being told to pass all the voltage (ITS throttle).

Like I mentioned earlier, Measure the voltage between the controller's B- and B+ terminals while driving cart. The battery pack was dropping to 47V, so the voltage between the B- and B+ terminals ought to have 47V also.

If it does, measure the voltage between the controller's M- and B+ terminals. It ought to start at zero volts and go up to whatever the voltage between the B- to B+ terminals is.

If it doesn't check the ITS (throttle) voltage to the controller.
Thanks for this info. Gonna start looking into it tomorrow after my physical therapy (been down with back issues for a couple weeks). I did check and realized that I've been slacking on my battery maintenance. I usually keep them checked/watered, but discovered today that the water level was down "to" the top of the plates. Smh

My charger cut off about 12 13 hours ago. The pack voltage is @ 52.8.
Batteries are about 4 years old.

If the pack voltage is only dropping to 47V under load, then the question is: What is the voltage at the controller and at the motor.

OK, the voltage between B-and B+ goes down to match the pack voltage. Care to share (for dummies) the M- wire location on the controller? Thanks

Thanks, I just found a pdf and discovered it. The wire tape on my cart has A1 on it. Kinda threw me off.

OK, it's a tough job having my wife drive and me keep the probes on the connections. But between M- and B+only goes 38.4v while the DVM on the dash shows 47.1

I'm trying to probe into the white wire, hole #1 on the large plug. Do I probe that and a ground? Care to share how to check the voltage from the ITS to the controller?

Or do I check it coming off the ITS?
