99 EZ GO only goes in reverse.
I put a new/used motor in this cart because the old one wasn’t working at all. The cart wasn’t running prior to me getting it. Installed motor and I put it in forward and wheels turn backwards and when I put it in reverse it the wheels turn backwards.

Could be the A1/A2 or the S1/S2 cables got swapped when installing the motor and the cart is actually running forward in both F and R. If that's the case, it might just be a bad reverse switch since DCS controllers default to forward and have to be told to do reverse.
With F/R in R, you ought to have battery pack voltage on Pin-4 (Orange wire). And 0V when in F. Also, the beeper ought to be sounding when F/R is in R. ---------- If it isn't Reverse switch related, the controller is bad. The DCS controller (Curtis 1206SX) has no under voltage protection and is a high failure item, so replace it with an Alltrax XCT48400-DCS. Also this cart’s tires only goes backwards when in forward or reverse.

The reverse buzzer does come on in reverse. The #4 has full pack voltage in reverse.
