Default Why I got my Carryall for $400.00

So the previous owner had his friend tear the original engine apart because it was putting out clouds of white smoke. He then gave up halfway through and sold it cheap.
When I removed the airbox, I found this, all 6 holes solid plugged by Mud Wasp! That will defiantly cause it to be a LITTLE rich. Glad I decided to pull it out and use a cable choke.

Seen that several times now. Yes, those little suckers will get into ANYTHING. Good for you finding one that cheap with such a simple "fix".

I have a generator that only gets used once a year (maybe). One year same thing happened. Same thing the following year. Then I got wise and sprayed insecticide all around it and covered the generator up with a tarp. No more wasps. Now I spray all my equipment with insecticide every spring.

Well, since he already tore the motor out and lost half the parts, the Lifan15 I already had just fell right in. Then things got out of control, Ebay and the cart vendors are dangerous.
But its fun as hell

Op. temp.- temp is just how many degC youve still got to go to warm the engine up to its operating temperature.
Ive never found a use for coolant raw and never spent the time to work out what it is.
Prom id error doesnt sound good - dont know what that means.

And... THAT is why we refer to it as "the addiction". But yes, an addiction most of us are quite happy to be afflicted with.
