Re: Going lithium with the NAVITAS 440 ac kit
PS I like your Al diamond plate--looks much cleaner than my plywood and nothing installation!

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking I may do for a last resort. But I’m still going to try to figure this out because I do not want to re-wire all my accessories, that would just a massive headache for me. I just don’t see how I would bypass the old reducer. I just really have to study the wiring diagram and just try to wrap my head around this. First I have to get a new relay because I believed i fried it. SUCKS! Haha |

Re: Going lithium with the NAVITAS 440 ac kit
So I thinking I can by pass my negative voltage reducer. I can take a negative wire and run it from the 12v side to the negative buss bar on the cart. Then with the red wire I’ll connect to the 12v positive side of the battery, that should work. I read something that these accessories on the cart need 16v to work so that’s why I’m kind of second guessing this. I get my new relay tomorrow I’ll get that installed and see if that would work.

Re: Going lithium with the NAVITAS 440 ac kit
So I figured out how to bypass the oem reducer it was simple not a problem. So I got the new relay switch and installed it, still none of my lights worked, my horn and windshield wiper worked. Come to find out all of my bulbs burnt out besides one side blinker and one mirror blinker. Haha. well, at least I figured it out, that’s all that matters.

I am also guilty of overlooking the obvious! We get all worked up and think the worst, only to find that it is something so simple. Sometimes I just have to laugh at myself for being so stupid!!
