I am new to the forum, just starting to research converting to lithium and trying to find out what the safest most economic options are. Cart is 2010 Club Car Precedent. Thanks for any advice/pointers.

The easiest lithium option is the RoyPow premade lithium packs. Has the BMS built in and is a drop in solution.

The most economic solution is to build your own pack, but that requires knowledge of lithium systems or a willingness to learn and do.

How does RoyPow stack up against Dakota Lithium? Dakota gives you a Charger and a 10yr warranty. Not to mention it’s a drop in replacement of the same size as your FLA - also with built-in BMS. I’m just curious if you’ve seen Dakota - I have no experience with either brand but have been looking at switching for a while and always do a lot of look-see :P

It's part of a kit that Scottyb used to sell with his solid state conversions.
