Thumbs up Cushman Hawk Project 898769E - 644100

I decided that I wanted to build my own golf cart, so I bought a Cushman Hawk I like how well it was built, not sure what year it is, got the parts Manual 700954, still looking for the operators manual 700980 (I Think) and I would also like to find the wiring diagram. I am pretty good at 12 volt wiring and like the challenge, would like to know what all of the extra wire are in the harness are for so I could ether use or delete them and put them in new loom, I plan on taking it down to the frame and building it up, painting, rebuilding, etc. any help with finding a manual or wiring diagram would be great, I have seen a lot of different upgrades looking at all of the different carts on the blog. Any suggestions on upgrading different parts of the cart would be great also. Looking forward to the building it with new picks as I go.

Got lucky yesterday and got a wiring diagram for my cart, not the exact one but it is right on as far as what wires are for, lot of extra wires on this cart.

In case you are wondering, your cart is a 1964. The two digits after the dash in the model number of Cushman products are the year of manufacture, but your cart looks newer than this. Did you read the model number correctly?

95ish Cushman hawk. Should have a 14 hp Briggs and Stratton. CVT setup
same as a golf cart just beefer.

Here is my first cart I had. A 98 Cushman hawk. All I can say is easy to work on and a lot of fun.
the day I bought it and the day I sold it.

That air intake that runs through the side of the buggy is a bad design on Cushmans part. If you run in the rain or if it gets rained on, the intake fills with water and causes run problems. Fix: I came up with a cold air intake under the seat and put a pre-filter on the end.
