I thought I would post how the way a rigged my throttle still coming off governor.

on my G14 I just used the longer cable from a G16, was the proper length from the gov. to the clone linkage.

Here is how I set my gokart up. I removed governor arm and welded a bracket onto the original throttle arm. Made direct throttle linkage from a TIG welding rod (3/32" I think). Then I made a bracket to attach to one of the fuel tank bolts.

I made levers then mounted them to my clone and put the factory G9 cables onto the levers to run stuff. As seen here, though the plate is mounted levers down so you can't see it that well. This makes the factory pedal and choke pull full travel to the full travel on the carb and choke. Some levers have multiple holes to adjust or adjust the return spring tension. IIRC the choke had to be reversed so the cable is mounted opposite side and throttle is not. Those welds are called 2 second eyes closed mig welds lol.
