On page 1 of my Vc 460 thread you can see my exhaust system. Its very compact and very quiet. There is not a lot of space to work with on the yamaha G 14 with the clone swap.

Here’s an update on my g22 rebuild.

6” Bmf AA lift
14” rims 23” tires (does not rub)
Predator 670
Vc swap kit with vc tachometer (tach hasn’t came in yet)

Still haven’t decided what muffler to go with but leaning towards the silent rider.

Nice build. As always can't wait to hear how everything works out. Carry on

4 or 5 years ago I put a VC460 in my EZGO. At that time here in the forum, they were talking about using small car mufflers. One of them was a Walker 22229. I used that with a 90° pipe to the header pipe. The out let end went into a J pipe with a SuperTrapp resonator/spark arrestor. The input end of the muffler kept cracking. I would weld it up and it would crack again. This winter I refabbed it all. I bought a new muffler and 2 J pipes. 1" OD pipe fits into the open ends of the VC craddle. I built a shelf with 2 2' pipes and a piece of flat iron. I also made a bracket that mounted to the rearend and is clamped to the muffler. I used a piece of stainless steel flex pipe to connect the header pipe to 1 of the J pipes.

A couple more pictures, one is how it use to be. I did use a "F" bit and drilled the cradle and pipe. Then I tapped it with 5/16 threads to keep the shelf from coming out.

Does that SuperTrapp make a difference? I have had my walker muffler for years on mine but would love to quiet it down more in my new campground.

Bringing my cart home to make some changes, try to squeeze some 25's on it and likely be moving the axel back to do so. If so I will probably have to rework my exhaust some, so thinking of trying to quiet it a little bit more. Right now I have a 17903 Walker on it but not sure after reading this thread if the 22229 would be quieter. Thoughts?

I don't have any personal experience putting the supertrapp as a muffler extension BUT there were several youtube videos that have.

I will check them out. Saw they aren't the cheapest thing to try so don't want to waste $100. Rather the wife get mad at me for something more fun
