![]() Hello, I have a 2001 Club Car DS, I’m getting ready to service the front hubs, but before I do, I noticed the newer hubs have sealed bearings. Can I use the newer hubs in place of my tapered bearing hubs?
Thanks |

![]() No, you'd have to replace the spindles also.

![]() I’d prefer the older hubs personally. You can service them. Usually repack the bearings and you’re good for another 20 years.

![]() Old style Front hubs will literally last forever as long as you grease them every ten years or so.
New style front hubs eat bearings like candy. Comparatively speaking. Expect 4-5 years from new style hubs, then the bearings will need to be replaced. |
