Default 2001 DS front hubs sealed bearings?

Hello, I have a 2001 Club Car DS, I’m getting ready to service the front hubs, but before I do, I noticed the newer hubs have sealed bearings. Can I use the newer hubs in place of my tapered bearing hubs?
Thanks

No, you'd have to replace the spindles also.

Do the newer carts have larger diameter spindle?

I’d prefer the older hubs personally. You can service them. Usually repack the bearings and you’re good for another 20 years.

Old style Front hubs will literally last forever as long as you grease them every ten years or so.
New style front hubs eat bearings like candy. Comparatively speaking.
Expect 4-5 years from new style hubs, then the bearings will need to be replaced.
