Re: I don't think this is repairable....
seems to me if you have the time and your not afraid to waste a few hours if it dosn,t work i would get a small flat corase file and go at it.......dosn,t have to look pretty or even perfect but its just possible.........thats the kind of thing i would love to do while sitting at the campfire alone with no distractions......as long as there are no breaks ( i didn,t see any ) but my eyes are the best anymore...............if it dosn,t work then you just pitch it in the campfire and watch the pretty flames.....................

Re: I don't think this is repairable....
yeah but how much? i wonder if it was the bearing that caused the rest of the damage......if it were a bearing that froze and than the heat if the windings can be saved its worth saving........that is if its just the bearing that caused it................................... |

Re: I don't think this is repairable....
one would think thats part of what they do......my point about rewinding is if it 300 to lets say just rewind it then it might be smarter to just buy another motor.....they are almost the same price or even cheaper.......i know if you price out the internal parts its almost twice the price of a new one.....................
