My 88 EZGO Gas GXI800
My first post
Glad I found the forum, I'm sure it will be useful. I just bought my first golf cart. I have been looking for around 3-4 months and finally found something nice. My main reason for the purchase was to use the cart for hunting. My father-in-law can not walk very far so this will help get us around to the treestands and feeders. I also wanted something we could use camping and around the house and garden. The previous owner had built this cart to keep but his wife wanted an electric so you know how that goes. The man bought the cart from the town, the title shows that it belonged to the police department. He gave it a nice paint job, made some minor repairs, a 4 inch lift, larger tires, and I think he put a new bed on it. The bed has a spray-on liner, a tail gate, and it can be used as a (manual) dump bed. It is also street legal and since I have a title, I guess I could put a tag on it and drive it around town. I paid $1,300 for it and think I got a fair deal. I hope it gives me many years of service. |
