fireing truoble
I have a 86 ez go with a 2 cycle 2pg engine and i have put a new pulser coil on it yesterday and there where other new parts put on it that are brand new that was on it when i bought it ,igniter, selinoid, voltage regulater, and spark plug coil. I noticed that the micro switch does not have anything hooked to it and the key switch has one wire going to the acclerator switch and the other wire with fuse link goes to selinoid with a branch off of it thats not hooked to anything. I have a wire diagram but gets a little confuising around those switches.. so does anyone know what should be hooked to that micro switch and will that cause it not to fire?

Re: fireing truoble
Hello, you can unplug your sparkplug wire at the coil use a volt meter or test light and see if you are getting power from the coil. If you have power there than plug the wire back in and test the plug wire. But as the micro switch is concerned for the one that is on the fire wall activated buy the gas peddle you should have one wire from the key switch to the common side of the micro switch and one wire from the other side going to the small post on the starter solenoid I hope this helps, I am shire some one might know better than me. Good luck
