Default Hooking up headlights and a reducer. Distribution block?

I just ordered a headlight/tail kit and a 48-12 reducer to run everything on. I was planning on putting in a couple player as well soon and rather than having everything oring terminated or nutted on the reducer I was thinking about a distribution block. Something similar to used in car stereo applications. Any pros or cons and any tips to cutting holes for light kit.

Use a fuse block.
Here's what I used:
Amazon.com: Blue Sea Systems 5025 ST Blade Fuse Block - 6 Circuits with Negative Bus and Cover: Sports & Outdoors Amazon.com: Blue Sea Systems 5025 ST Blade Fuse Block - 6 Circuits with Negative Bus and Cover: Sports & Outdoors

Make sure to fuse converter. Most have an inline fuse, if not install one.

I would cut within the lines and trim to fit.
