Default 300 amp controller / what input , 5-0 ?

Found a 300 amp Curtis controller that was told would work
on my cart.
Curtis model 1204 - 412,
300 amp, 36-48 volt

How to tell what the speed control input is ?

Mine is 5 k - 0,
225 amp, model 1204-410

Would like to use the 300 amp one if it'll work
& it's good

Pic if mine
