07 Club Car Precedent Jakes lift kit help
Installed new alltrax controller and solenoid. Installed Jakes 6 inch lift kit.
Installed 23x10-14 tires and the back tires rub with 2 people on it. Do I need heavier spring? Shocks or both? Thanks again for all your help |

Probably springs. I have a set of HD springs off mine, 2009 Precedent I would sell if that's the way you decide to go.

Re: 07 Club Car Precedent Jakes lift kit help
Get the dual rate springs, soft ride unloaded, unlike the HD springs. The HD springs are a harsh ride. Shocks will not help the overload issue, the leaf springs will. The site sponsors above will have them.

Re: 07 Club Car Precedent Jakes lift kit help
I have heavy duty dual action rear springs and with 2 people on the back it was rubbing yesterday. 6" Jakes long travel with 23x10x14 tires. It does have 2" spacers on the rear though, not sure if that contributing to the problem.
