Re: Western Golf and Country cart-looking for year
Ultimately its worth what you are willing to pay for it. Hard for me to see the #s but it looks like the cart could be an 04?
For many buyers it has the fact it needs new batteries and that its a 36v system working against it so use that as bargaining power and get it for what you can if you like it. Check around and see what other ezgo txt's are selling for in your area around that year, 36v, battery age and go from there. Don't know what you're using it for either. I would probably pass because making that cart right will probably far exceed its value unless it was a really good deal but maybe someone else will chime in with their opinion. |

Re: Western Golf and Country cart-looking for year
Its a series cart so will likely be slow but reliable. If you want it to be comparable to late model carts in terms of performance it will be expensive to upgrade.
Neither EZGO, Club Car or Yamaha make 36v carts (or series either) anymore and haven't for years. |

Re: Western Golf and Country cart-looking for year
Dgarrido, where did you find that serial number? All my westerns that have that body style have a large sticker under the hood that has the month and year of manufacture. The front clip on that cart is generally from a western elegante.
Based on your serial number I believe your cart was built during the 9th week of the year 2000. I believe I made a typo in prior post about the year, if I recall (consistent with other posts on the forum), the first three are the model, the next two are the week made and the next number is the year made. |

Re: Western Golf and Country cart-looking for year
I am hoping someone can help me identify the year make and model of this Western Golf Cart. From what I have read it appears to be a model 400 made in the month of August and it is a 1991 model on a EZGO Marathon frame, but I'm unsure. The serial which I have included in the pictures appears to be as follows:
4000819163 The cart runs fine for a while then all of a sudden it stops. I hear the solenoid click and it almost sounds like it's barely trying to run but won't move. I have tried jumping the solenoid and it makes no difference. After a while, it will just run again. The batteries were fully charged. Than you for your help. Michael |
