Not an EZGO, Taylor Dunn wiring harness
I know this is the EZGO thread, but there isn't a Dunn thread. My neighbor has a taylor dunn that doesn't run... He sent it out to get diagnosed. They said the 36v battery pack, solenoids, motor and controller were all good. They said his wiring harness is bad.
Is there any way to get a replacement wiring harness? Is there something else he can check before going to that extreme? A new wiring harness sounds expensive... Thanks for any help you can provide. I'll get more info and post back in a few days (headed to the beach till Sunday). Thanks |

Re: Not an EZGO, Taylor Dunn wiring harness
One thought is to try and find a wiring diagram and find out if it's the whole harness or just a few wires and/or connectors.
Buggies have two sets of wires; the smaller ones, and the larger cables. If it's just the cables being corroded, that's a pretty easy fix, though it does cost money. If it's the smaller wires, troubleshooting is necessary. |
