Default Will lifted Yamaha get stuck in sand?

Hi guys, I am thinking of buying a 2009 Yamaha Drive and installing a Jake's lift kit on it. My main worry is whether or not it will drive well in sand if I choose the right tires. Does anyone have any experience with driving in sand? I am new to this and I would really appreciate any tips. Thanks.

Where to start?
Tires are more relative to your Q than lift.
Air pressure is critical.
type, depth, and moisture content is relative to the Question.
Drivers sand driving experience will be the deciding factor.
Always carry a shovel and some carpet or rubber mat......
I suggest you buy suggest you buy sand tires and run them as low pressure wise as you dare. Also found the weight of the electric was an advantage

Depending on the tires, tire pressure is a biggie. I've now got Carlisle 489s on the cart and I air down much less. Remember, with an electric cart the sand will use lots of charge. "Steer it and step on it" is the mantra when driving in the sand.

"Steer it and step on it" It is as much the driver as the equipment in sand and only by getting stuck will you learn things like never stop going uphill

Also... "choose your hills wisely" can also be interpreted as "don't be a dumbazzz" You are not in a turboed fuel injected sandrail.. you are in a golf cart

ya definitly air down the tires, wider the better, more ground contact=more floatation!

Carlisle 489's with 4 psi will take you in soft sand really well. I ride in the desert a lot. Right Boo?

I couldn't tell you what the psi is in my Carlisles and I only have them on the rear at this time. We haven't aired them down at all from what they were when we took them off another cart, but I'd be willing to bet it's over 4 psi and they ran for miles down sand highway at the dunes without any problems and up some pretty good hills too. I like that I don't have to air them down like I did the Duros because I use my cart on the street alot too and the soft tires slowed it way down.
