Solid state installation problems questions

I have a 1984 club car ds that is in the process of a solid state conversion. I bought a conversion kit from the classifieds that had the solenoid, pedal linkage assembly, and a fsip controller. I got the instructions from scotty that are for an Alltrax controller, I've got it connected as close to the drawing as I can as the controller doesn't have all the terminals that the Alltrax has. When I hook up the negative and shift cart into forward or reverse it accelerates immediately. If anyone has installed this controller and has some pointers, tips, instructions I would greatly appreciate it. I'll get some pictures posted soon of what I have wired up.
