re: Turbocharged Kubota D722 - EZGO
Heres a few pics of my D722 3 cylinder diesel. I just got through rebuilding it about a month ago. .25mm overbore all brand new Kubota rods, new Kubota crankshaft.....everything Kubota, no aftermarket. The engine had less than 10 hours on it when I got it......someone forgot to check the oil and she chucked a rod...that's how I ended up with it. I put new injectors in and built the injection pump using V1505 pump elements. The stock D722 pump elements are 5mm...the V1505 pump elements are 5.5mm. She needs a turbo or supercharger to utilize the fueling potential...which is coming in time...it will blow smoke something fierce. I broke it in on our engine test stand. We're able to load it hydraulically. I'm just waiting on the weather to turn a little nicer before I put it in.

I had a turbo on it but....it was too big. A TD03 from a 2liter kubota....722 just wouldn't spool the turbo. Looking at Either an RHB31 or perhaps an AMR500

Its 17 inches long from fan to flywheel...no fan so its a little shorter. Z482 is around 14 fan to flywheel.

re: Turbocharged Kubota D722 - EZGO
Specs say 22 inches with the deep pan but I have the shallow pan from a GL11000 genset...probly around 19 or so I'm guessing. The pan accounts for almost 30% of the height. I can get a solid measurement tomorrow. I know the pan is going to stick down but I'm not too worried about it. I can mod the pan or make guards.
