Default Cart will not go or just squeals

Hello everyone! I now have a 2016 Precedent with EFI.

I am trying to figure out why my cart will not go sometimes on the first few pedal pushes, it either does nothing or squeals and that's it. After 2+ presses it starts going.

Could this be the solenoid or the starter maybe?

I thought that too, but then thought why wouldn't it just keep on slipping or start eventually. It just squeals then nothing, when it does squeal.

My guess is starter belt slipping, then it grabs and starts like normal. YD

Might be right, I don't know how long they are suppose to spin to start. I guess after the initial short spin it runs freely to charge the system....

After the squeal, you get nothing, no noise or nothing, like its dead.

I ordered a new belt to see if it helps, will hopefully get it next week.

Tighten up your starter/Generator belt. You probably don't need a new one.

I bought the cart used a while back and I am not sure how old the current belt is, so I will just change it out.

I won't get the new belt until next week probably. I will update you after I get it swapped.

Belt is worn or loose. The EFI engine has a higher compression than previous engines so it seems more prone to have the belt slip. Use a genuine Club Car belt. Aftermarkets will slip worse.
