Dual motor club car
Alright folks I've got an idea of taking two rear ends with both motors cutting the long shaft flipping one and fusing them together(so the diffs still work) adding a second controller with 8 batteries. Anyone heard of diing this

That sounds like an interesting project. But what are you trying to accomplish? More speed, more torque? Speed even with two motors you are still limited by RPM of motors. Torque it definitely will increase With extra motor. But with that said their are some really good high torque motors out on the market already that would cost you a lot less then trying to modify the rear end. Plus I don’t know if two controllers would play nice together. Plus 8 more batteries would add extra weight to cart if you are adding to already batteries installed. I would look at converting your present system to a AC motor. More Torque and speed and if you go Lithium hold on to your hat! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Re: Dual motor club car
The two motors so i can gear them to spin lower without one pulling too many amps at takeoff and have a high topspeed
