Default Ezgo marathon / 4x4 Polaris sportsman 400 Swap

I decided that I am going to start posting some of my crazy ideas on here to hopefully get the motivation to finish up some projects that have fallen on the back burner. I started this build about a year ago with a ezgo marathon and a Polaris sportsman 400 4x4. Having them parked beside each other in the shop I got the bright idea to combine the two for a more practical use around the farm. So far I have everything mocked up and the chassis 90% complete minus a few final touches like hooking up the brakes and throttle, need to get the shifter hooked up using push/pull cables, and the most dreaded of them all is getting it wired up so I can still use the Polaris speedo and indicator lights. Anyone with experience with these Polaris wiring harnesses please get in touch with me so I can eliminate all unnecessary circuits.

Few more pictures to show the subframe that I came up with to attach the differentials/suspension to the golf cart frame

I'm by no means an expert on the subject, but you should be able to just extend the wires as they were on the ATV.

You are correct on that. I was at first thinking that I would make my own harness so I got a little carried away when I started to cut it apart and burned up and cut some wires so I made a mess but I may just try finding a junk sportsman and remove the harness neatly and extend the wires as you mentioned.

Doing that would also possibly get you some replacement parts for down the road, too.
