I bought a 5 gallon flat plastic gas jug. Drilled a hole in the side and used a petcock and rubber grommet for a lawn mower gas tank for fuel control. I haven't had a fueling issue sense installing this on the back of the cab.
I have often wondered about this. I know some people have changed the needle/seat to work with a fuel pump, but I don't know what has to be different.

The problem today is most of the cheap cabs don't have replaceable seats - there pressed in or how ever the install them and no one sells them for the Ruxin carb used on clone engines. They sell whole carburetors.

From this to that and more to go to make it perfect. Anything that would create turbulence or obstruct air flow is being removed. Yes I'm using a choke behind a 3-1/4 x 4" velocity stack and a hi-flow air filter.

I bought 4 - 24mm carbs for experimental work and the first one went on the Hemi. I opened the choke face to match the velocity stack just like the one posted below. Oh by the way I have a slightly used Vegas Carts carb that's been opened right up, I'm going to post it in the for sale section.
I'm going to CC the complete assembled combustion chamber. I need to know the volume of the second set of valve reliefs. I would like to bump the compression up to. I have to figure how much needs shaved off to bring the compression up to 10 to 1. I want to run this engine in my truck against the standard wedge head 460 and see if there is a real difference in torque because of the bigger valves.

Has anyone else come across a clone carburetor that has a metal choke shaft and a screwed on butterfly plate?

Shepard. Just a FYI incase you want more of those carbs: Vegas carts has the 24mm carbs for the 460s on sale for 14.49 instead of 39.99...

It is the 22 mm unit with the nonadjustable idle jet from the VC 460 NOT the 24 mm from the VC 625

Well it's official -l bought Bullfrogs Ultra Long Rod. 4.650 inches. My piston sits .007 below the deck with Vegas Carts Long Rod 4.510 that's +.100 longer. With the new rod - it's .200 longer so my piston will protrude out of the deck .097. I will cut the top of the piston down into a domed piston to up the compression in the VRX460 Hemi - shooting for 10 - 10.5 to 1 ratio so l can use hi test pump gas

Is that with the Ross forged piston ? That looked like the best way to go .
