Re: Vc 460
The horseshoe crabs have arrived so the Red Knots are being fed. Triple rides so far today. All the tourist have went away.

Re: Vc 460
VRX460 was the real name of the Vegascarts 460 engine. As far as I know all 3 generations of the engine were listed as that. Gen 1 being the original with the cast rod and stock clone cam, Gen 2 with the ARC rod and torque cam, and Gen 3 with the VC billet rod ,flat top piston and torque cam. I just called my thread the Vc 460. Then I started the VC 460 Omega for my really heavily modified build and Shepard listed his Hemi build as the VRX460 Magnum. I suspect both of us may build deviations off our original plans for these engines.I started with a Gen 1 in 2014 and upgraded it to Gen 3 and then added quite a bit more speed equipment before the 2016 riding season. With carb mods that is the engine still in the cart from the 2016 redo.

Re: Vc 460
Only got 1 8 mile ride in today. Alas the biting strawberry flies have arrived. Late but plentiful.

Re: Vc 460
Drove 24 miles today and that takes me up to 15 hours on this oil. I guess another week or two and it will be oil change time. That will be the first one of this season.

Re: Vc 460
Looks like the horseshoe crabs have left the area. Probably the Red Knot watchers will soon exit. Rode another 24 miles today. Sort of an average on a nice day. Morning run, mid day post office run ,supper time run. On the weekends the GF likes the sunset on the bay run. I guess I should check out all the lights and make sure all is well. I ordered 4 more of the horsefly traps off E Bay. I going to be ready for the Greenhead flies when they show up this season.

Re: Vc 460
Got another 24 miles in yesterday plus picked up our take out dinner with the cart. That was a first. Took the cart to dinner before but never used it for take out.
