Default Axle locker????

Once you get the power up on one of these carts a donut once in a while would be fun but it's not happening with this one wheel boogy, lol. Question is does any one make a spool or mini spool type mechanical locker for the dana axle in this 03 EzGo? Ive not been in it other than a fluid change, what do the drag racers do for traction, are there spiders that can be welded also for a make do locker? A locked rear in this cart would make for a much more fun ride, I run 215/40/12 street tire type tread so turning on pavment should still bee easy enough on tire ware? Whats out there.....?

Doesn't matter what kind you get. If you decide to weld the gears it will be a bitch to turn if you are hand pushing it. I know, my cart has welded spider's in it. This cart weigh's about half a normal cart does too!

Thanks guys for the link. I suppose thats still a wet clutch style posi, where Id rather have a mechanical locker I think. I did weight it at the local race track this past weekend, its weighs 1205# with no one setting on it, I sure thought that seemed heavy? Maybe the locker is not a good idea, at this weight it may want to break axles while turning on dry pavement? I just thought it would be cool to be able to sling it around in a donut once in a while.....

not hard at all. pull the axles, then unbolt the two caps holding the ring gear and carrier. disassemble, smooth the larger pinion gears with a grinder or sander, then just reassemble using the posi block. once it is all together just pry off the two small retaining clips and you are done. plowman has good instructions.
