Front Suspension Swap?

New to site but have been reading for a while. I just bought an old CC Caroche 36v for the wife to haul plants around. Not sure of the year can't locate the ser# in either location (dash, battery area).

Just have to modify. Old skool guy. If it ain't loud it can't be fast!!

Has anyone repaced the old front suspension and steering of a Caroche with a DS model? I have looked at the two frames and at face value (no measurements) appear the same, but the ds I was looking @ had the frame cut to add a lift.

How fast can you push a ds front end safely?
