Default Key switch question

I broke one of the two tabs off the back of the key switch and I was able to solder it back on, but I couldn't remember which wire connected to which tab. There was only two wires, so I had a 50-50 change of getting it right.
It appears to be fine, the car moves when the key is on and it appears to shut down okay. Does it matter which wire connects to which tab on the switch?

Thanks, Chip

Actually you had a 100% chance of getting it right since the switch is either On or Off and only two leads that will be used for just two wires. So it wouldn't matter which was hot and which was not!

Please correct me if i am wrong but the polarity on a switch doesnt matter as per attached, in that as long as it breaks the circuit

And if your solder job does not hold up let me know, I've got a couple extra $10.00 shipped.

Thanks for all the feedback. The soldering job looked like it might hold....kind of hard to tell. If it doesn't hold up, I will definately take you up on your offer. Thanks again, Chip
