Any more information on these batteries Jay? Cart modifications and speed?

I got a 2011 club car precedent. I want with the 50ah. I did no modifications to put the batteries in. I think it goes a lot faster then it did. I downloaded an app on my phone to tell me the speed but havent try it yet.

I am seriously considering ordering the 60aH for my 2011 Club Car. Installing a new Alltrax 400A controller and FSIP speed motor now and need batteries. Thanks for the reply.

Allied Battery representative - recommended just using my existing charger (OEM Prescedent IQ - high frequency type) on their Allied Battery Li 50AHr batteries, and not to bother with buying the charger. I was surprised. We'll see. Batteries arriving tomorrow. I will list the 1 yr old 8V cells on Craig's list and see if they might sell. No idea what they are worth, yet.

I never installed mine. Ran into other "projects" - plumbing, at the home. Frankly, i'm having second thoughts about using them - as the CC is "new" to us, and we are totally enjoying using it nightly, dog rides, and its technically my "wife's" Cart, not mine....and don't want to screw that up. Your pictures re-motivated me. I'll see about getting the longer lead to do the bridge connection and get going on this this weekend.

I'm getting long run time on these
All weekend and we ride a lot and lots of big hills. I am getting top speed of 19mph. Only charge maybe every 3rd day and the meter is still reading 50%

I'm definitely interested in hearing more first-hand on these Allied kits.

Looks like Ace Golf Cart Covers is selling a 60 amp hour for $2,100 and an 80 amp hour kit for $2500 (not sure which one to go with but really tempted by the 80 even at the higher cost) plus $285 for the fast charger. Free shipping too.

Near as I can tell I'm going to be into the replacement Trojan Ranger 160s for around $1,200? Probably more if I left the shop do it for me (I realize that installed cost of the Trojans vs DIY install of the Allied isn't a 1:1, but I was planning on letting the shop do the install so my "mental budget" is based on that, lol).

I'm really liking the reduced maintenance (my current Trojans are likely in part the victim of our bad maintenance of them) and the reduced weight.
