Correct point gap is .22 but, to be honest, so long as those points separate there is a good bit of tolerance with it.

Those columbia motors are pretty much the same as the HDs. Some of the peripherals are different but 95 percent of those motors are the same.

There are a bunch of ways to convert to electronic ignition rather than points. If you ever get adventerous you may wish to consider a conversion.
