Default New lithium ion batteries

I just put new lithium batteries in my golf cart. I put 4 12 batteries in it. Ran it last and then charge it over night and then today took it and want a short distance and it died. The end battery was giving a zero reading so i recharge it and got 12.6 v on all batteries. Took out again and the same thing happened. When i plug it in the end battery is reading negative. Everything is wired right. What could be the problem

Give some specifics of the lithium batteries. Amp hour rating, maximum current draw in amps...etc. We'll go from there.

That sounds like an internal battery or BMS issue. Since they are new and expensive, I would contact the supplier to protect your warranty with them.....

A 7 year one it looks like.

I've seen a few threads lately asking about this company so maybe you can report back once you figure this issue out with the vendor to help other folks asking about this route for a lithium conversion.

They were closed. The charger they sent me is not working. I used my old charger and the batteries are working great

I was looking at these batteries, as well. They recommend purchasing the charger, but say it will work with current charger. BMS is supposed to be built in to battery, so I'm not sure I follow why they are recommending a different charger. I mean it is on about $250 for the charger, but I still would like to justify the expense.
