Clutch Question
I have a 97 TXT gas cart that seems to not be shifting into low when going up hills. Can anyone tell me where to look first. It is a stock clutch. I want to get my parts together and fix it at the campground next weekend. I am also thinking about a 28* conversion while it is apart. Are there any reasonably (cheap) ways to accomplish that without to much down time? Thanks...

Re: Clutch Question
check yoru rear clutch. i bet the risers are completely gone and teh cone is riding aluminum to aluminum.
IMO get a complete clutch assy if you find this. If you buy the parts to repair your clutch you will be little over half in cost. |

Re: Clutch Question
I am not sure what you mean by risers. Is that what rides on the ramp buttons? The 28* kit I am looking at comes with that part (cam) that rides on the buttons so if mine is shot I can get all the parts for $80 delivered.
