Default 1983 36v club car charger

I have a club car Accu power automatic charger. The longer I leave it on the needle drops lower in numbers as it charges. When it gets to 0 does this mean the batteries are fully charged? It's used and the guy I bought it from didn't know the answer. Thanks

If you go to Club Car website with your cart's serial number, you should be able to dl a manual for your cart which should include info for the charger . . .

The Charger will shut off when the batteries are done. It sounds like it is working good. Just listen for the hum to stop. Most of the charge cycle is the lower amperage 'leveling' of the individual cells. Typically this is done between 3-8 amps and the gauges on the chargers are not real accurate so listen for it to stop.
