Default Help selecting a motor and a battery question

I have a 1991 Club Car DS that used to be a V-Glide cart. I have upgraded it to solid state with an AllTrax AXE 650 amp controller, heavy duty Albright solenoid, curtis PB-6 pot box, #2 AWG welding cable battery cables, heavy duty forward/reverse switch, and 6 new 8 volt US Batteries to run at 48 volts. Currently I am running the stock 36 volt motor (model # 5BC48JB764) and I would like to increase my speed to 25 mph with as much torque as possible. I am going to be installing a Jake's 6 inch lift kit with 23" tires. I have used the motor controller calculator at D&D motor systems and it suggests the ES-81 speed and torque motor. Will this get me 25 mph and how much torque will this have on 48 volts with a 650 amp controller? I have also heard of the ES-58 torque motor and that this would get me 23 mph on 48 volt with the 650 amp controller. Can you make some suggestions on motor selection ? Will the six 8 volt batteries have enough to supply 650 amps for the controller?

Call D&D. They will ask you a bunch of questions like. Where do you ride? etc......They can answer those question you have better than anyone here. They asked me. I am very satisfied with the motor they sold me. Good luck with your combo.
