Voltage Reducuer..Yes or NO ?? Help
Hey Guys..novice here and just got my 2006 EZ Go PDS 36V Cart.
Looking at adding several electrical components in the next few months. Nothing too serious..but include the following: Stereo or AMP w/MP3 Jack / Speakers to play my Ipod - very soon Battery Meter Perhaps a cig light adapter for other "stuff" down the road. I have gotten several answers about my question if I need a voltage reducer ... or converter for my cart. Apparently some people have said if I don't have a 48v..I don't need..others have said..YES i do.. so I'm confused.. Understand that a converter would actually help to run power from ALL Batteries vs. just two for the 36V / 6v x2 hookup .. Can someone give me the Correct answer and what some of my options are here.. I certainly appreciate all the help I can get.. |

A 36 volt ez go has plenty of room under the seat for an extra 12 volt battery
